Lot of 20 NOS vintage Girard Texaco wooden nickels – these are 1.5″ in diameter. I am in the NW Pennsylvania and NE Ohio region and there is a Girard, PA and a Girard, OH in this area. There is a record of an old Texaco station in Girard, OH so this may be from there. There is no mention of a location other than “Girard Texaco”. They read “WOODEN NICKEL” on one side and “SERVICE IS WHAT WE SELL Redeemable at GIRARD TEXACO” on the other. They look to be new aside from the dust, staining, etc. from storage.
