Large Vintage ceramic ashtray from Madonna Inn of San Luis Obispo, Ca. Raised pink logo. Acquired in 1980’s, in good condition, no chips, cracks, large scratches, scrapes or stains. None of the gold edging is chipped. Minor wear on outside ring of gold shown in photos and a bit of wear below pink logo also shown in photos. Ashtray measures 8-3/4” across. I have not seen another one like this in all my years of collecting! The Madonna Inn opened in San Luis Obispo in 1958 and is known for its themed rooms, pink champagne cake and bright pink exterior. It quickly became the go to hotel for celebs, newlyweds and tourists. Carefully packaged and shipped to you from California.
