Sabin Industries, founded in 1945, was a company based in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, that specialized in decorating "blanks" (undecorated china pieces) purchased from other manufacturers. The mark, featuring an "S" inside a painter's palette design, indicates the item was decorated by Sabin. The text "Warranted 22K" signifies that the decorative gold trim on the plate is 22-karat gold. These plates were often sold to premium companies that provided trading stamps (like S&H Green stamps) to retailers, who then offered them to shoppers. NOTE Gold trim has wear and some has rubbed from age & crackle in the paint due to age no chipping or breaks.
