Perennial shrub liana. It grows to a length of up to 5 m . The bark of young shoots is grayish-brown, old ones are reddish-brown. The leaves change color during the growing season. Leaves from below along the veins with small bristles with prominent hairs. Blooms from early June to early August, about 30 days, with white fragrant flowers. The calyx with fruits is green. The plant is dioecious. Fruits – berries up to 4 cm long with a conical sharp spout, edible, but much less tasty than other species, slightly burning in taste, compared with other species of actinidia are poor in vitamin C. Maturation begins at the end of September, when maturing, the color changes dramatically. From hard light green, they become soft and orange.…
